We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Cake Ok people, its time to get serious.  Tomorrow is my doppelganger Marisa Tomei’s birthday and I still haven’t bought her a gift!  I assume she likes exactly the same things that I do, so I’ll just run out and get her an industrial-size tin of chocolate covered pretzels.  Hint, hint, hint. Since we’re chatting about birthdays – today is Amanda Seyfried, Brendan Fraser, Daryl Hannah, Julianne Moore and Ozzy Osbourne’s special day.  And in addition to Marisa, tomorrow is Jeff Bridges, Tyra Banks and Jay-Z’s birthday too!  Some movies are turning a day older tomorrow as well – Young Sherlock Holmes was released 25 years ago and Brothers reaches it’s first birthday.  I bet you didn’t even realize that movies have birthdays.  Ugh, so rude!  With all of these celebrations, clearly I am going to need to pick up some new festive party dresses. There are a lot of things I would do if I were a celebrity – like cutting long lines and abusing my access to swag bags (oh, and donating to charity and stuff) – but one of the first things I would do would be host one of those sponsored birthday parties I’ve read about in gossip magazines.  The idea of someone paying me to attend my own party sounds pretty fabulous.  Although, those events seem to be more for celebutantes than celebrities… I can’t say I’ve ever seen a picture of Jeff Bridges blowing out sparkler candles at a nightclub in Vegas.  Oh well. I’ve been trying to solve the riddle of why so many celebrities were born on the 4th and 5th and the only logical explanation I can come up with is that maybe there was a sale on cribs (or birth control prices were jacked up – zing!) in March.  Thoughts?
