Move Over Bieber
Barbara Walters has announced the ten most fascinating people of 2010 and shockingly I was not included on the list… But Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the “Jersey Shore” cast made the cut. Interesting. Also included were General David Petraeus, Betty White, my boyfriend Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Middleton, Sarah Palin, LeBron James and my girl Sandra Bullock.
Not like anyone asked me for my opinion, but if I had to make my own list it would include Brangelina, Steve-O, my dog, Zach Morris (he’s a classic that will never go out of style), the cafeteria staff here at Viacom and possibly G.Wills but only because it’s his birthday. I might even throw in the Hailee Steinfeld, the young woman who plays Mattie Ross in True Grit, simply because she wears her hair in two long, tight braids for the entire film and I think that shows some serious dedication to her craft. I don’t know much about Kate Middleton besides the fact that she went to St. Andrews and is marrying a Prince, but if that gets you “Fascinating” status then I’ll go hunt down some royalty right now.
Our picks differ slightly, but there are two people on Bab’s list that I definitely agree with – Sandra Bullock and LeBron James. In my humble opinion, statues should be erected in Sandy’s honor. She’s obviously talented and handled what could have been a career-wrecking public divorce with grace and ease. Reminds me of how I handled my last break-up… nottt. LeBron is my age and has accomplished marginally more than me and has an ever-so-slightly larger bank statement than I do. I don’t mean to brag, but I was Captain of my High School field hockey team… NBD. My point is that clearly LeBron and I are both naturally talented athletes – and Sandy and I are both naturally brunette… if those two qualifiers don’t make me #11 on Barbara’s list then I don’t know what will.
Who would be on your list?
