Thank You to All the Real Mavericks Out There! Tomorrow is Armed Forces Day and to commemorate the great men and women who serve this country I am going to do the only logical thing… watch an EPIX movie marathon.  Ryan Phillippe, Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt protect and serve in Stop-Loss.  Abbie Cornish, Ryan’s ex-girlfriend, also stars in the movie but don’t worry, it’s not awkward because they were still dating when the movie was filmed.  Just in case you were concerned…  Navy Seals is another great film for the occasion and stars a hunky Charlie Sheen doing what he does best – rescuing American military personnel in the Middle East.  There is also Top Gun, Platoon, The Siege of Firebase Gloriaand just in time for the celebration, this Sunday you can watch Channing and Joseph team up again in the EPIX premiere of G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra.  If those two cuties aren’t big selling points for you, the movie also features Sienna Miller in a skin-tight cat suit.  Thank you to everyone who works hard to keep America safe and happy Armed Forces Day!
