“Toot” –Our Horn EPIX was nominated for an Emmy®!  Besides LTfeatures.com (which was obviously the main motivator behind our nomination) we are being recognized in the ”Outstanding Nonfiction Special” category for Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story.  Can you believe it?  Har har har. Also nominated in our category (don’t you love how I keep saying “we” and “our” as if I had anything to do with this honor) are specials on Barak Obama, Ted Kennedy, “The Simpsons,” “Saturday Night Live” and Johnny Mercer.  So, a couple C-list politicians, some cartoons only kids watch, a show that’s on past my bedtime and some singer who won four (that’s it?!) lousy Oscars®.  Big whoop.  The Emmys® are hosted by The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences which sounds suspiciously similar to the two fairs we had in middle school – the Art Fair and the Science Fair – both of which I took home top honors (Art Fair in 4th grade, Science Fair in 5th in case you were wondering).  So by my calculations, I am already pre-qualified to win at least some sort of supporting-blogger award.  I’ll go ahead and pick out my dress now just in case I get called at the last second.
